Of Course I Love You I Just Don’t Like You Very Much

This is a great fun read, full of darkly comic characters reminiscent of Tom Sharpe. It is the story of a man who has simply fallen out of love with his wife and wants to find her a new husband so he doesn’t have to live with the guilt of actually leaving her.

What he doesn’t know is his erstwhile companion has her own agenda when it comes to setting him free of his dragging ball and chain.

In his own words the author, J.E. Mackenzie says ‘A tender story of falling out of love and how to do it for people who don’t really like tender love stories’, which is why we reviewed it. This is shining example of how humans are ultimately really quite selfish but also try to do the right thing, with insanely funny consequences.

The fact that this takes place among the Scots makes it even more worthwhile and funny.
