King of Mekong

King of Mekong is a cracking adventure story of the Old School. A group of adventures take a helicopter trip into the jungles of Vietnam. Their intent is to visit some of the sites of the war and to have a bit of an adventure. When their group get kidnapped by bandits only one manages to escape and this is his story of his attempts to free his friends. Chasing through the jungles and into Ho Chi Minh City where Mick discovers he is also wanted by police. With the bandits on his tale and no safe place to turn this is a terrifying race through a part of the world most of us have forgotten. Modern slave traders and drug traffickers hold huge parts of this country as their own and they are not about to let a group of tourist wreck their plans

Author Damian Magnay certainly knows his stuff. He has studied the war in detail and has made many a trip to the areas mentioned in the book.
For those who like high octane adventures we cannot recommend King of Mekong highly enough.
