This is a heartwarming book. Local Welsh Lad Nick heads for the bright lights of London to make a name for himself. Seduced by the glamour he quickly rises to the top as a trader in a firm of city brokers. He seccumbs to the vices of alcohol and drugs in order to help him cope but when he finds his girfriend locked in an embarace with the person he belived was his best friend things spiral out of control. Eventually he heads back to Wales, tail firmly between his legs. Here he rediscovers the values of true friendship and loyalty as he takes up with his old mates and between them they try to uncover the mystery of Sam’s disappearance many years ago.

A lovely story and well told reminding us all about the importance of holding on tight to those things and people we love.
